Calibrations according to DKD-R 6-1

Calibrations according to DKD-R 6-1 should be performed for pressure measurement devices that are critical for ensuring the quality of the product or service. The extensive test procedures of a calibration according to DKD-R 6-1 record all relevant environmental factors and specify a measurement uncertainty for the calibration. The calibration certificate with the DAkkS accreditation symbol is internationally recognised and documents complete traceability to national standards.

Factory calibrations according to ISO 9001

Factory calibration is suitable for measurement devices that are used as auxiliary equipment for reference measurements and development purposes, e.g. in a test equipment management system according to ISO 9001. In contrast to calibration certificates according to DKD-R 6-1, the factory calibration provides no information on the measurement uncertainty. Factory calibrations are performed at halstrup-walcher using traceable reference instruments.

During calibration, we strictly adhere to the respective specifications, use traceable references and thus also make the measurement results traceable. Our experienced staff will be happy to calibrate the devices for you.

Performance overview for our accredited calibration laboratory

Our calibration laboratory has been accredited as a member of the German Calibration Service (DKD) since 1999. Since 2010, the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) accredits our calibration laboratory according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025 for the calibration of the measurement value pressure. The accreditation is valid for the scope of accreditation stated in the attached document D-K-21048-01-00 (Certificate of accreditation)

We offer calibrations for all makes, independent of type and manufacturer. Our high-precision testing equipment, which we use as reference instruments for calibration, is calibrated at regular intervals at accredited calibration laboratories with highly accurate reference standards and thus directly traced back to the national standard.

Calibration of differential pressure transmitters, calibration devices, absolute pressure transmitters and portable manometers

Absolute pressures of 0.25 bar to 20 bar in gases (laboratory medium: air or nitrogen)

Negative and positive overpressures from -75 mbar to 20 bar in gases (laboratory medium: air or nitrogen)

Preparation of calibration certificates according to DKD-R 6-1 or documentation of a factory calibrations according to ISO 9001

Procedure of a calibration accroding to DKD-R 6-1

Ablauf einer DAkkS-akkreditierten Kalibrierung

A calibration according to DKD-R 6-1 must be performed according to prescribed standards. All parameters that can have a relevant influence on the result, such as room temperature, are taken into account and documented. Subsequently, the measurement results of the instrument under inspection are measured repeatedly at a minimum of 5 or 9 points. Depending on the measurement range and the desired measurement uncertainty, the appropriate sequence is performed with the corresponding number of measurement values and locations.

Adjustment – More than just calibration

Our service team carries out adjustments of halstrup-walcher instruments

If a significant deviation from the target value is detected in halstrup-walcher measurement devices during commissioning or after calibration, our laboratory technicians will contact you immediately. You can then decide whether to commission our service team to adjust the instrument so that the measured values are accurate again. Recalibration after adjustment ensures that the instrument meets the quality standard for your processes. We offer this service exclusively for measurement devices from halstrup-walcher.
